04.11.16 – DZAMIL KAMANGER: PASSPORTS TO HEAVEN AND HELL

Published

Dzamil Kamanger (b. 1948, Iran) uses traditional handicraft techniques in his works, but the themes move within current affairs and questions regarding identity and humanity. A central part of his works are the refugees and the feeling of otherness – both experienced through personal history. The aesthetics also play an important role. Both the embroidered and the beaded works are like small treasures.

The exhibition will be open from the 4th till the 27th of November.

Wed-Fri 12h00-18h00, Sat-Sun 12h00-16h00.

Opening party on Thursday, November 3rd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
