Erik Creutziger (b. 1982) is an artist who paints themes that casually fall somewhere between fantasy world and reality. His genuine expression uses an expressive style of painting as a means to achieve an effect, but every time the paintings have more and more naturalistic details. Creutziger, who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts a few years ago, held his last solo exhibition at Forum Box. His artworks can be found for example in the collections of the Saastamoinen Foundation, the State Art Collection, Helsinki Art Museum and Pro Artibus.
Exhibition open from the 6th till the 29th of October.
Opening party on Thursday, October 5th, from 17:00 to 19:00
In this exhibitions, a series of photographs around the same theme have been installed in a way that together they form an entire artwork.
Noora herself describes her new work like this:
“Movement takes life forward. In my work I deal with different manifestations of movement within our bodies and minds. I am also interested in the various forms of change around us. My work seeks to provide answers to the question what moves us. I work with video, film, and photography.”
Noora Geagea is an artist who has graduated as Master of Arts from London, and whose works can be seen for instance in the collections of Aine Art Museum, Timo Miettinen’s collection and Finland’s national collection. Last summer some of her photographs were seen in the highly popular Katajainen kansa – Taidetta purkutalossa exhibition in Mäntyharju.

Friends of stamps and art have a chance to meet the winner of the Posti Art Award, Jasmin Anoschkin, and the designer of the stamps Paula Salviander. Jasmin will be interviewed every hour, at 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00 for about 15 minutes.
Jasmin Anoschkin (b. 1980) is an explosive expressionist who both carves from wood and makes animal themed figures from clay. Her exhibition is carnevalistic, although behind the smile there can be found difficult questions about being different. No-one is perfect, but on the other hand it’s the imperfection that makes even animals human.
The exhibition is open from September 8th till October 1st. Welcome to the opening party on Thursday, 7th of September for 5 to 7 p.m.!
